I first began playing hockey when I was in Year 6 at primary school. Following on from this, I joined Lindum Hockey club where we trained every Saturday morning.

At the first tournament we didn’t have a goalkeeper, so I offered to give it a go! I really enjoyed it and have played in this position ever since.

As I have progressed, I played development team hockey at Lindum Hockey Club and represented Lincolnshire County.

This summer (2021), I was invited to a trial for the Yorkshire Performance Centre which is a regional training centre for England Hockey. After two days of trials in Leeds and Durham I was very excited and proud to be selected for the squad. Being selected involves Monday night training sessions in Doncaster as well as Wednesday and Thursday night training at Lindum with matches played at the weekend. My ambition is to be selected for the Team GB Hockey Team and playing at 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angles.

What I most enjoy about my hockey is playing with my teammates and enjoying the camaraderie and fun we have.
