The Humanities Department, in partnership with Remembrance Travel, are planning a 3-day educational visit to the Western Front/World War 1 Battlefields in both France and Belgium, commencing Tuesday 30th June and returning on Thursday 2nd July 2020. The main purpose of the visit is for our students to experience this very poignant time in our history and support their studies of World War 1 and Trench Warfare.
Please note that students do not need to be doing/or considering taking GCSE History to take part in this visit, however, they should have an interest in it. In the past, this has been a very popular visit and students who have participated have been impressed by what they have seen and found it to be a very moving experience.
The cost of this visit is £331 and the price quoted is based on a minimum of 25 students. (Maximum 40 students).
Letters outlining the details are available in the library.
