Tomorrow we will come together as a community to celebrate the Epiphany.
The Epiphany is a solemnity of the church and a holy day of obligation.
On the solemnity of the Epiphany we remember the wise men who travelled far to worship the new born King. The three wise men were not Jews. They came from lands far to the East, astrologers who used the stars to guide them on their journeys. they knew of the prophecies of an infant king to be born, a saviour. through them, is arrival was announced to the world.
