The Department for Education is working with the UK’s leading mobile network operators to provide access to young people without internet access.
The scheme is part of the DfE’s ‘Get Help with Technology Programme’ and can temporarily increase data allowances for mobile phone users on certain networks to allow young people to access remote education if their face-to-face education is disrupted.
How do I apply?
We, as an academy, are required to provide the Department for Education with the details of all families who wish to request an increased data allowance. To allow us to make this request on your behalf, please read the Privacy Statement https://get-help-with-tech.education.gov.uk/increasing-mobile-data/privacy-notice and complete this Form BEFORE Monday 25th January at 12 noon: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=dErnSRhZ4UmBcwJJdI1ENj9yiIKSGQpEliRXEa1RyTlUMUtSODBCRjM1S1hIQlFGOUJFNTdSQkNUOC4u
