This week is a time to celebrate National Numeracy Day, which is a day all about recognising that numbers play a big part in all our lives and helping people sharpen their skills and build their confidence. Being better with numbers isn’t a special talent, it’s something we can all learn.
On 13 May National Numeracy are running a virtual festival which you can get involved in to help improve your numeracy through a day of online events.

Improve your everyday maths with the National Numeracy Challenge
The National Numeracy Challenge is a free website to help you check and improve your numeracy – the maths you use in daily life! It only takes around ten minutes to check your skills, videos to show that however you feel about maths, you’re not alone, and increased flexibility, so that you can choose what you want to do.
