Today students and staff marked Remembrance Day by coming together in a collective act of remembrance and worship.
Led by Mrs Shinn, Mrs Browne and Mr Barr, our poignant Remembrance Service was relayed into each classroom at the start of the academic day.
Prayers, poetry, readings and music gave students and staff the opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many, including those who fought in the Battle of Britain which this year marks its 80th anniversary.
In tribute to “the few” this year’s focus was on the Royal Air Force.
Students and staff also stood with the nation to observed a one minute silence at 11:00 am.
