We are extremely proud of the GCSE outcomes at St Peter and St Paul this year. Year 11 students and staff were set the challenge of achieving the best GCSE results ever at St Peter and St Paul in 2016. The hard work has paid off and this has been achieved with over 60% of students achieving 5A* – C including English and Maths and our progress measures have improved significantly on 2015. Students should rightly be over the moon with all of their achievements and they are now well prepared to move on to Level 3 courses in St Peter and St Paul 6th Form or other education, training or employment . The results are a real testament to the excellent relationships between and dedicated work of staff and students.

Here are some comments from students:

Christian Kirk: “I am overjoyed with my results. I couldn’t have done it without the help of my state comprehensive academy and my teachers, I feel like all the hard work has been worth it.” (Christian achieved 10 A* grades)

Barnaby Wilks: “I am very happy and looking forward to continuing into Sixth Form.”

David Karan: “My results are what I expected after a lot work, I am very pleased.”

Mae Sleeman: “I am over the moon, I achieved two A*’s, five A’s and three B’s. I’m so excited for next year.”
