GCSE Results Day 2024
Reminder:
Sixth Form and Year 11 students collecting results must enter school via Western Avenue, through the left-hand door of the Sixth Form Block. There will be no parking available on site.
Students can collect results between 9.00am and 12 noon. If you have pre-arranged for results to be collect on your behalf, the person collecting must bring photo ID with them.
This years’ results days are as follows:
- A-Levels: 15th August 2024
- GCSEs: 22nd August 2024
Results can be collected between 09.00am – 12.00pm and will be available for collection from the new 6th Form block, adjacent to the vehicle entry gate.
Priority on A Level Results Day will be given to Year 13 candidates, as such Year 12 candidates are requested to arrive after 10.30am, if possible.
As a reminder, results are private and confidential to the candidate, as such only the candidate can collect their results unless they have given permission to the exams office in writing or via e-mail to [email protected], before the relevant results day, detailing who they expect to collect the results for them. Anyone collecting results on behalf of a candidate will need to show appropriate ID on collection for confirmation. We will not be able to hand out results to anyone if prior permission has not been received or ID cannot be confirmed.
If a candidate is unable to attend on the appropriate dates/times and does not want someone to collect their results on their behalf, they should provide the examinations office with a stamped, addressed envelope so their results can be sent via normal postal service. Please note that any results sent via post will be sent on Results Day, we are unable to send results prior to the results day embargo, set by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and the associated awarding bodies.

Sixth Form Transition Days – 26th and 27th June 2024
I am pleased to be able to share with you our arrangements for our transition days. These will take place on the 26th and 27th June 2024. They are designed specifically to prepare our new Year 12 students for life in our Sixth Form and allow students to refine their programmes of study.
The first two periods of each day on the 26th and 27th June will be team building activities so students should dress for some form of physical activity. The school canteen will be open to all and the school day will remain the same. Each day will begin with a short briefing with myself in the main school hall.
I would also like to extend an invitation to our returning Year 11 students and any new external students to a Business Breakfast organised by our Year 12 students and the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce. This will begin at 8.00 am – 8.30 am and conclude by 10.30 am on Tuesday 25th June 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to meet members of a number of professions in the Lincoln area and make some connections for the future.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either myself or Mrs R Carter.

Year 13 Leaving Liturgy and Celebration
Parents’ and carers are invited to join with us on Friday 24th May in the new academy chapel at 1.00 pm. The event will be marked with a Liturgy and farewell to our Year 13 students. This will be followed by a gathering outside in the academy grounds for tea and cakes, where we can hopefully enjoy the sunshine and wish our Year 13 well in all that they do in the future.
Mr S Penney (Head of Sixth Form)
